Hello friends!

Now that I have had a chance to settle in after cast change I figured it was about time for an update. After six weeks of very intense rehearsal we successfully opened all five of our shows…well for the dancers its more like six :-P Love you guys!!! I promise to go into more detail soon but until I get a chance, here is just a little info about our main production shows.

Just Rock is without a doubt one of my favorite shows I have ever sung. This powerfully energetic show takes the audience on an exhilarating ride through the evolution Rock and Roll. Featuring the song styling’s of Elvis, Nancy Sinatra, Billie Idle, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Tyler, Blondie, ABBA and the Bee-Gees just to name a few. With so many divas to choose from it’s hard to say which decade has been my favorite to sing.

WIN is one of the most recent additions to the Carnival fleet and has just been revamped after an installation on our newest ship (the Magic). The basic idea of the show is that a contestant (played by one of our own guests) is competing in a number of game show challenges. Each game has a prize, which is the inspiration for the following section performed by the cast. This presents a unique challenge in that the show changes direction stylistically very quickly. One moment you can be singing country the next you can be doing kung-foo! No matter what style you love there is something for you in this show!
